The gods were kind to us this evening and the sun shone for the annual ascent of Murder Mile. In a close sprint finish, James Hall narrowly beat last years winners Tom Adams, but didn’t manage to break the record he set two years ago. Meanwhile Alice Jones was first female home, and did set a new ladies record of 8.35 for the course. Apologies to Rachel Villiers of Barlick who should have received prize for first lady home, but was wrongly marked on the finish sheets.
